Construction Labour - Lunenburg

Atlantic Road Construction & Paving is a large heavy civil construction company specializing in heavy civil excavation and flatworks, pipeline placement, concrete placement, and asphalt paving. Our team has a project in ongoing in Lunenburg, NS, expected to run through all of 2026. We are looking to hire qualified individuals that live within a reasonable commute to our jobsite to join our team for the duration of the project.

Requirements:

Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a positive attitude.

Comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Able to work as a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers, ensuring all tasks are being completed in a safe and timely manner.

Valid class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

Previous experience as a labourer or construction labour considered and asset.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Daily inspection of tools and equipment.

Participate in safety conscious activities such as tailgate meetings every morning.

Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all rules and regulations set forward by foremen.

Loading and unloading construction materials.

Perform a large variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour.

Possibility of working in confined spaces such as trenches, manholes, etc.

Other various construction related activities as instructed.
