Montante Construction is seeking a dependable, motivated Construction Laborer to join our growing team! This hands‑on role supports our project managers, superintendents, and skilled trades by helping deliver high‑quality construction projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities
As a Construction Laborer, you will support project teams by performing a variety of tasks across active job sites, including:
General Construction Support
Assist with job setup, preparation, material handling, and clean‑up
Assist with demolition, concrete preparation, carpentry support, and other basic construction activities
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment to keep the job running smoothly
Operate basic hand tools such as hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, and drills
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times
Help ensure work areas meet safety and cleanliness standards before, during, and after finishing/painting tasks
Safety & Communication
Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
Report safety, quality, or schedule concerns promptly to project supervisors
Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow established safety measures on job sites
Team Support & Additional Duties
Work collaboratively with supervisors and skilled trades to support project deadlines
Complete tasks thoroughly and efficiently as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
1–3 years of experience in construction preferred
OSHA 10 Hour certification or willingness to obtain after hire
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and perform physical labor in varying conditions
Basic understanding of construction safety practices
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take direction
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to travel to various job sites throughout the WNY region
