Summary:
This full-time position is responsible for operating the wheel loader, roller, and skid steer operator
performing various labor duties around the job-site, as needed. 

Skills/Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in construction and at least 6 months front end loader or roller experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*Be able to operate a wheel loader to load trucks with rock and debris.
 Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following
standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
 Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions;
troubleshooting breakdowns; calling for repairs.
 Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
 Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines,
other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
 Prepares work by studying and clarifying instructions and diagrams;
calculating requirements; gathering supplies.
 Coordinate machine actions with other activities, position or move loads in
response to hand or audio signals from crew members
 Safely move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials using wheel loader.
 Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related
results as needed.
 This position is also responsible for tasks involving physical labor at
construction sites and assisting other workers.

Employees may operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. Control traffic
passing near, in, or around work zones with appropriate training provided.

 Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or
adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials with appropriate training
provided.
 Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth
using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes
 Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
 They may also clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support
the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble other waste
materials
 Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools while
distributing them to the appropriate locations
