Desert Services International is a growing Arizona-based general contractor specializing in civil and industrial, and telecommunications construction.
We are seeking dependable construction laborers to support our field operations.
Position Overview
The Construction Laborer performs general labor duties on civil construction projects. This position supports concrete work, site preparation, trenching, grading, and other physically demanding tasks required to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Laborers work outdoors in active construction environments and must be reliable, safety-focused, and capable of maintaining productivity in fast-paced conditions.
Responsibilities
Assist with site preparation, trenching, and grading
Perform and support concrete forming, pouring, and finishing
Set forms and place rebar as needed
Load and unload materials and tools
Operate hand and power tools safely
Assist with operating small equipment when needed
Maintain clean and organized job sites
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Work as part of a crew to complete daily tasks
Qualifications
2+ years of civil or concrete construction experience preferred
Experience with concrete forming and finishing preferred
Ability to safely use construction tools and equipment
Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
Reliable transportation required
Valid driver’s license preferred
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Physical Requirements
Lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat
Ability to work overtime as needed
