Construction Field Assistant

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Field Assistant to support the closeout and punch-out phase of a ground-up hotel construction project in Pooler, Georgia. This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on helping bring the project to completion. The Field Assistant reports to the on-site Superintendent.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assisting with punch-out and closeout tasks

Supporting daily jobsite operations and coordination

Subcontractor check-in and basic field communication

Entering daily logs, photos, and documentation in Procore

Helping maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite

Wearing required PPE and supporting jobsite safety standards

Assisting with schedule coordination and milestone tracking

Reading and comprehending construction drawings

Supporting inspections and follow-up work

Performing other duties as assigned to support project completion

Schedule & Expectations

On-site position in Pooler, GA

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. start time

Up to 40 hours per week

Consistent, reliable on-site presence required

Temporary, project-based position

$18/hr

Paid company holidays during an active assignment time-period

Employment is at-will

Qualifications

Prior construction or field experience preferred

Ability to follow safety requirements and jobsite rules

Comfortable working in active construction environments

Basic ability to read construction drawings a plus

Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

Physical & Mobility Requirements

Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout active jobsites for extended periods.

Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.

Able to lift, carry, and handle materials up to 50 lbs.

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned jobsite.
