Job description

Byrne and Jones Construction is seeking a laborer to work at our Asphalt Plant in Greenwood, NE. You will play a key role in our building success. Your skills will be a vital part of a team that is devoted to getting the job done right - on time and on budget. Our workers take pride in knowing that the work we do is helping to build communities - one project at a time. On-the-job training provided!

Duties

Ensure safe operation of asphalt plant and safety of asphalt plant employees

Operate heavy equipment such as trucks and skid loaders

Inspect, clean and maintain equipment and machinery.

Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Responsible for reporting problems and malfunction equipment and/or machinery to supervisor and/or shop personnel.

May set up and tear down equipment.

Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day.

Use equipment and/or an assortment of hand tools

Perform all other general laborer work as needed.

Any and all duties assigned.
