The Role

We are seeking a Construction Analytics Solutions Engineer to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you will embed with our customers — leading general contractors and owner’s reps — to integrate Doxel’s AI-captured progress data with customer project data. You will refine reporting engines and automate executive-ready dashboards and reporting that drive transparency and decision-making for the most complex construction projects in the world

You will play a key role in supporting and improving Doxel's internal data infrastructure, helping centralize reporting metrics from disparate data sources, standardize data models, and ensure consistent, reliable delivery of reports across the organization. You will combine deep field experience with strong data engineering skills to design and deploy solutions that scale across jobsites. You’ll travel to customer offices and trailers, collaborate closely with project teams, and deliver value from day one.

Your Day to Day:
• Own the scoping and definition of reporting deliverables for customer engagements including discovery of stakeholder needs, alignment on KPIs, data source inventory, delivery cadence, and acceptance criteria to ensure every reporting solution is clearly defined before development begins

• Combine Doxel data with customer data (schedule, cost, WBS, commissioning trackers) to create integrated, automated reporting solutions

• Support and enhance existing internal data pipelines spanning GCS, Snowflake, Coalesce, and Sigma Computing, contributing to data transformation, modeling, and visualization workflows

• Centralize and improve internal reporting metrics by consolidating data from disparate sources into unified, reliable views

• Standardize data models and report templates to ensure consistency, repeatability, and scalability across customer deployments and internal reporting

• Track and report on metrics related to report delivery, including timeliness, accuracy, adoption, and stakeholder satisfaction

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify reporting gaps, surface data quality issues, and enhance reporting solutions that serve both customers and internal stakeholders

• Present polished, executive-ready reporting and/or dashboards to construction and owner leadership

• Willing to travel up to 25% for 2-4 days at a time to customer sites

What Success Looks Like:
• Become the subject matter expert on Doxel’s technology capabilities and partner directly with Doxel’s strategic customers’ key stakeholders and field teams to demonstrate and prove the impact of Doxel’s products and services

• Work directly with VPs of construction all the way down to entry level project engineers to show the value of Doxel’s capabilities

• Conduct site visits, trainings, and discovery with our customers’ field teams at the largest commercial construction projects in the US and world

What You Bring:
• 5+ years’ experience in construction management, project controls, construction tech implementation, or consulting

• You lead from the front with a fanatical focus on delivering customer value; highly organized, autonomous, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong client-facing skills and experience collaborating with senior construction executives

• Experience leading discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to translate ambiguous business needs into well-defined reporting specifications and project plans; strong history creating automated executive presentations from concept to production ready

• Deep understanding of large commercial construction workflows, schedules (P6), earned value analysis, and BIM/VDC workflows; experience with leveraging data from BIM/VDC models to enrich project reporting, such as linking model elements to schedule, cost, or progress data for more granular analytics

• Proficient in SQL, Python, or Javascript, and data wrangling; comfortable working with APIs and integrating disparate data sources

• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and reporting automation; experience with modern cloud-based ETL and BI platforms (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Coalesce, Sigma Computing, or similar) is a strong plus

• Willing to travel up to 25%

Preferred Experience:
• Experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) and cloud storage (GCS, S3) is highly valued

• Familiarity with data governance practices including metadata management, data lineage documentation, and catalog tools (e.g., Coalesce Catalog, Atlan, or similar) to ensure data sources are well-documented, traceable, and trustworthy

• Previous professional services or consulting experience

• Familiarity with construction management systems (Procore, Aconex, Autodesk Build)
