Job Title: Construction Data & Automation Specialist
Job Type: Full Time
Start Date: Immediately
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 Annual Salary
Position Overview: Design and operate no-code and low-code automation solutions that connect field operations, project management, finance, and leadership reporting. This role focuses on eliminating manual re-entry, improving job-level visibility, and enabling real-time decision-making for a highly mobile construction workforce.

Reduced administrative burden on superintendents, foremen, and PMs
Essential Functions:
Automate field workflows (daily logs, production tracking, time capture, material deliveries, issue escalation).
Build mobile-friendly forms and workflows that function reliably in low‑connectivity environments.
Integrate field tools (PM, safety, inspections, timekeeping) with ERP/accounting and back‑office systems.
Design, maintain, and document no‑code/low‑code automations across platforms like Power Automate, Make, Zapier, or n8n.
Ensure accurate, structured job‑level data (jobs, phases, cost codes, labor, materials) to support forecasting and WIP reporting.
Build dashboards and reporting for PMs, superintendents, and leadership, enabling near–real‑time job performance visibility.
Monitor workflows, troubleshoot integration failures, and maintain governance standards (naming, versioning, access control).
Support ad‑hoc analysis and continuous improvement initiatives tied to job cost accuracy and operational performance.
Education and Experience:
Experience with construction ERPs (e.g., ComputerEase, Sage, Viewpoint, Procore Financials)
Familiarity with field tools (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, timekeeping apps)
Exposure to RPA or light scripting (Python or JavaScript)
Experience supporting multi-location or regional operations
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong experience with no‑code/low‑code automation platforms and workflow design.
Solid working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience integrating APIs, flat files, and mobile field‑collected data.
Hands‑on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Metabase, Tableau, or Excel.
Understanding of construction workflows and ability to design solutions that work in real jobsite conditions.
Excellent communication, documentation, and process‑mapping skills; able to translate field needs into simple, reliable automations.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-based work environment
Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
Overtime and weekends may be required based on workload demands
Must comply with OSHA regulations, safety requirements, and company safety policies
