Working scope of Center of Competence Connector

We are global connector expert organization, provide technical support for Bosch internal customers relevant to connector system; implement connector release according to Bosch internal specification, international specification, and OEM’s specification; test failure root case analysis and provide improvement proposal; provide concept design based on internal customer needed.

Job Description

• Ÿ You will take over the responsibility for connector release test plan, performing the connector release test and document of final test reports, collaboration and agreement with internal and external customers.
• Ÿ You will take over the responsibility for connector test failure analysis, find the test failure root cause and provide improve proposal to customer.
• Ÿ You will provide technical consulting services for internal customers relevant connector topics e.g. dimension deviation evaluation, the function impact due to design change on the connector system, customer request analysis, connector selection based on application…
• Ÿ You will take over the responsibility for task force relevant to the connector issue with the problem solving methodology.
• Ÿ Preparation, presentation and defending of working result in front of customers and suppliers.
• Ÿ Managing different tasks and project in parallel.

• Ÿ Bachelor’s degree+, major in mechanical engineering area.
• Ÿ 3~5 years’ working experience in vehicle connector design or testing, prefer family with high voltage connector.

• Competence of base material e.g. plastic, metal, plating, silicon;
• Competence of design e.g. tolerance calculation, drawing language; Function of connector design elements,
• Competence of design methodology e.g. DFMEA, DRBFM, PS (Problem solving)

• Ÿ Highly self-motivated, flexible, can entrain and motivate other, good communication skills and open for deep incorporation into technical content.
• Ÿ Structured, proactive, customer orientated, independent, target orientated, act responsible,high willingness permanent to learn.
• Ÿ Good knowledge in English (spoken and written), cooperation and communication. You are a part of a worldwide acting organization and a close collaboration in regards of national and international colleagues is standard for you. You are used to build up and keep close contact with all your partners Bosch internal and external.
