Within the Product team at Agoda, ideas come alive. We envision innovative ways to improve our customer’s experience or drive Agoda’s business performance. The Connectivity team is part of Product organization and it has the rewarding responsibility to take ownership in all respects as we discover and develop partnerships that make huge contributions. We are simultaneously involved in the technical and operational ownership of select strategic connectivity partner accounts, including global hotel chain brands. Our team is comprised of great talents and professionals from multiple cultures and cultivates an environment of learning that strengthens each team member while bringing travelers closer to all people.
Responsible for analyzing the performance of the hotel chain technical connectivity for your account(s). Specifically, you will research the root cause of connectivity problems, recommend and lead implementation of solutions, and proactively identify technical approaches to grow the business. You will provide detailed feedback on account performance to stakeholders including senior management, the internal commercial and product teams, and the hotel chain distribution teams.
In this Role, you'll get to:
• Autonomously analyze performance of hotel chain connections to find root cause of problems and lead execution of solutions, as well as identify and recommend areas of improvement
• Independently determine any necessary action to maintain hotel chain connectivity within specific performance metrics (e.g.,
• lead changes in configuration, recommend/validate system enhancements, strategize on recurring issues with hotel chain reps)
• Identify opportunities to enhance connection robustness or generate business value for accounts, with occasional assistance
• Provide the team and senior management with constructive and relevant feedback on account performance
• Coordinate with local and central management on planning and objectives
• Subject Matter Expert for the technical hotel chain connections on your accounts – maintains comprehensive knowledge of all necessary account data, oversees routine stakeholder correspondence, and serves as the primary liaison for both internal and external connection-related escalations
• Prepares for meetings, presentations, Quarterly Business Reviews, with some support, to ensure quality and effectiveness
• Contributes to projects as an active team member, occasionally taking the lead on initiatives
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Practical SQL knowledge
• Agile experience
• 2 to 3 years of technical account manager experience
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
• Knowledge and experience with hospitality management systems a plus
It's Great if you have:
• Understanding of agile working methodology
• Experience working with data transfer via API's
• Exposure to one or more data analysis packages or databases (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA, SQL, Tableau)
• Travel technology experience, with a preference for hotel systems

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
The salary range for this position in NY/CT is $70,000 to $95,000
