Connections Coordinator Cadet – NPE-Tech (Tauranga)
NPE-Tech has an exciting opportunity for a Connections Coordinator Cadet to join our team based in Tauranga. We are an established and reputable local company and part of the wider Feisst Group, offering strong career development pathways and long‑term opportunities.
This is a full-time, office-based role, commencing March 2026.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑focused individual to join our Design and Delivery team as a Connections Coordinator Cadet. This role is ideal for someone starting out in their career or looking to step into the utilities, electrical, or infrastructure sectors.
You will learn our “Network Ready” process, support our coordinators, and gain hands‑on experience across administration, customer interactions, and work management systems. As a cadet, you will receive full training and ongoing support to grow into a skilled Connections Coordinator.
Some Key Tasks Include:
Providing general administrative support to the Design and Delivery teams
Learning and supporting the “Network Ready” connections process
Assisting with monitoring office and work request inboxes
Setting up new work requests in our works management system
Raising Purchase Orders for project work
Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
Liaising with other NPE-Tech branches to provide administrative support
Supporting Coordinators with scheduling, documentation and project requirements
Upholding excellent Health, Safety and Environmental standards
What We're Looking For:
Candidates with:
Broad administration experience or strong interest in developing administrative skills
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
Exceptional customer service and a friendly, positive manner
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Strong self‑organisation, time‑management, and multitasking ability
The ability to work well in a team and autonomously
A valid NZ driver’s licence
Previous experience in a similar industry is beneficial but not essential—training will be provided.
