Config Tools SW Test Engineer

Become part of team that is developing MCUXpresso Config Tools, industry leading software designed to accelerate embedded development. We are looking for young engineers for implementation and validation of configuration software for the latest processors based on Arm Cortex architecture.

Your team:

• By joining our Brno team, you will become part of a collective that mixes 20+ years of experience in the area with new generation of engineers and modern project management approaches.  
• You will have the opportunity to get in contact with different NXP teams (system teams, hardware designers, customers engineers, etc.) to give feedback and propose solutions. 

Your responsibilities:

• Validation and verification of initialization and configuration software for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Design, implementation and maintenance of test environments and test automation.
• Integration of AI and ML into the software development and validation processes.
• Close cooperation with rest of the development team located in the same office using agile techniques and modern project management tools.
• Teamwork in international environment, collaboration with different NXP teams (software development, system and field engineering, hardware design, etc.) giving feedback and proposing solutions. 

Your profile:

• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Control or Computer Engineering.
• Embedded programming experience in C and scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
• General Arm architecture and embedded systems programming know-how.
• Experience with software development tools (Git, JIRA) is an advantage.
• Experience with software development processes and quality standards is an advantage.
• English language on day-to-day communication level, ability and will to work in international environment.
