Job Title: Conference Porter

Job Purpose:
To provide an outstanding level of service by ensuring all conference and event spaces are set up to the highest standard and maintained throughout the event. The Conference Porter plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for all guests, in line with the Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and break down & refreshing meeting rooms and event spaces according to client specifications (layout, audio-visual, furniture, and amenities).
Ensure all event spaces are clean, safe, and well-presented at all times.
Provide assistance and support to conference guests throughout their event.
Work collaboratively with the Conference & Banqueting, Front Office, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless delivery of events.
Respond promptly to guest requests and conference changes with a helpful and professional attitude.
Maintain all equipment in good condition and report any faults promptly.
Manage storerooms and ensure that all stock is organised and accounted for.
Ensuring all meeting room food & beverages are delivered at clients specified time.
Uphold health, safety, and fire regulations during all setups and operations.
Requirements:
Positive and flexible attitude with a passion for excellent customer service.
Physically fit and able to move furniture and equipment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
