Position Overview

Kenny Seng Construction is seeking a hardworking and reliable Concrete Laborer to assist with site preparation and concrete-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, a willingness to learn on the job and to be an example of KSC’s mission and core values.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, digging, and moving materials.

Utilize basic tools, including shovels, trowels, screeds, and hammers.

Smooth, level, and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools.

Follow site plans and supervisor instructions to meet project specifications.

Maintain and properly store tools and equipment.

Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.

Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Previous concrete experience preferred but not required.

High school diploma (or equivalent)

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Basic understanding of construction processes.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.

Prolonged periods of bending, kneeling, stooping, and standing.

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Work Environment

Exposure to loud noise, dust, and heavy machinery.

May require overtime, weekend work, and occasional out-of-town travel.
