Overview

We are looking to employ experienced Concrete Finishers to perform a range of duties that are crucial for safe and successful concrete installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

At J.J. Barney Construction, you will have responsibilities based on the construction project’s needs, but they will typically include, but may not be limited to:

Placing, finishing, and curing concrete foundations, flatwork, and sitework

Placing and securing steel reinforcement bars or mesh within concrete forms

Building and dismantling concrete formwork

Using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and small equipment

Experience and Skills Required:

Knowledge of concrete placement, curing, and finishing techniques.

Knowledge of concrete formwork and shoring techniques.

Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks that may include kneeling, bending, and lifting heavy items.

Strong work ethic with an unwavering commitment to quality and professional work.

Ability to carefully follow written and verbal directions.

Prior experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role is preferred.
