Job Description

Burgess Civil is currently seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience in concrete work, specifically involving sidewalks, driveways, pads, and curbs. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in finishing behind a curb machine.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete finishing (including sidewalks, driveways, and curbs) – REQUIRED

Skilled in hand forming, pouring, leveling, and smoothing concrete

Experience operating a curb machine is a strong plus

Proficient in using concrete power tools

Previous experience working on construction job sites

Knowledge of and ability to install different kind of curbs

Must be comfortable performing hand form work as needed

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Ability to lift 50 or more pounds and ability to lift, carry, bend, crawl, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, and crouch and able to stand for long period of time

Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on different terrain type

Pay: Compensation will be based on experience.
