Byrne & Jones Construction is seeking a highly motivated individual to estimate, sell, and manage private and commercial concrete projects. Responsibilities include reviewing plans and specs, performing site visits and takeoffs, estimating job costs, assisting with scheduling, and managing multiple projects from concept through to completion. As the number one commercial asphalt paving company in the St. Louis metro area, we aim to provide our clients with options for constructing and maintaining both asphalt and concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee all aspects of private and commercial concrete construction projects, from estimating and sales, to planning through completion
Estimating: Read and understand plans and specifications, and perform quantity take-offs from plans and/or field visits
Client Communication: Serve as clients’ primary point of contact, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop project timelines, track progress, and manage budgets to ensure efficient execution.
Team Coordination: To ensure smooth collaboration and delivery, lead project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff.
Problem Solving: Address issues as they arise, finding creative solutions to keep projects on track
What you bring to the table:
Experience: 3-5 years of estimating and project management, sales, business development, commercial property management, or real estate
Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Business Management, Finance)
