Job Description:

Experience estimating concrete scopes including foundations, slabs, walls, structures, and associated concrete work.

Ability to build a concrete estimate from start to finish, including scope review, takeoffs, pricing, and final review.

Ability to develop work plans and construction approaches for concrete packages.

Experience printing and reviewing plans and specifications and assembling estimate files.

Experience maintaining project lists, historical data, and vendor databases.

Experience obtaining and analyzing subcontractor, supplier, and material quotes.

Strong experience completing detailed concrete take-offs.

Ability to prepare schedules and cost estimates as required.

Ability to prepare proposal documents and scope narratives.

Ability to attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed.

Proficiency with estimating software such as HeavyBid.

Experience with PlanSwift or similar takeoff software preferred.

Experience with AGTEK preferred.

Experience with P6 preferred.

AutoCAD experience preferred.

Qualifications:

College degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of concrete or construction estimating experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening.
Subject to background screening.
