What you will be Doing:

Oversee Daily Operation and Maintenance of compressors and all equipment associated with compressor.

Function as the Primary point of contact between compressor rental/service companies and the production foreman/maintenance foreman.

Determine the cause of mechanical failures to identify ways to prevent future failures. This may include compressor performance, troubleshooting, and environmental concerns.

Support EH&S departments in ensuring compliance with Air Emissions permits.

Coordinate with operations staff for compressor adjustments for gas lift system and PM schedules.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; vocational training or certification in mechanical or instrumentation technology preferred.

Proven experience as a Compressor Mechanic or a similar role in the oil and gas industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with compressor equipment and emissions control systems.

Strong knowledge of emission control equipment, including vapor recovery units, flares, combustion systems,

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and instrumentation for emissions testing, monitoring, and calibration.

Familiarity with safety regulations, hazardous area classifications, and permit-to-work systems applicable to compressor stations and facilities.

Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze data, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to resolve mechanical and instrumentation problems.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive attitude and commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.

Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean abstract.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

Able to work a 10/4 schedule.

Must reside within 1 hour of Pecos, Texas
