Your tasks:
As a Component Owner, you are responsible for the development and series optimization of connection parts, brackets, and sub-assemblies mounted to the body structure. You collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to design concepts and develop detailed engineering documentation.
Your tasks:
• Develop and optimize connection parts, brackets, and sub-assemblies for systems mounted to the body structure
• Create packaging concepts and feasibility studies using CATIA V5
• Prepare detailed technical drawings including tolerance specifications for the body structure domain
• Integrate components and assemblies into the CAD environment
• Generate 3D and 2D models using CATIA V5, maintain them in the PLM system, and derive corresponding bill of material
• Coordinate with suppliers and external engineering service providers, managing their deliverables and progress
• Document, maintain, and release components and drawings within the Windchill PLM system
• Align and coordinate design activities internally and with external partners
• Present results and provide recommendations in collaboration with the sub-assembly engineering teams
Your profile:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
• Professional experience in design engineering within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in CATIA V5 (DMU, Part Design, Shape Design, Kinematics, Drafting)
• Experience with Windchill and JIRA is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, independent working style, and conceptual thinking ability
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
