On January 31, 2025, IQ-EQ acquired the AGAMA Group, a leading independent player specializing in compliance and regulatory consulting, based in France and Luxembourg.

AGAMA IQ-EQ offers strategic support in regulatory compliance, internal control, and operational management to asset managers of all asset classes and savings product distributors. This acquisition marks a strategic step for IQ-EQ by establishing a strong presence in regulatory compliance in France and Luxembourg. It also strengthens its ambition to become a leader in regulatory compliance in continental Europe, like its positioning in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Asia.

AGAMA IQ-EQ has become an essential reference in France for the compliance of asset managers and distributors, benefiting from strong market recognition and reputation. In Luxembourg, AGAMA's rapid growth will complement and strengthen existing services, particularly in the roles of AML Compliance Officer (RC) and independent director functions.

IQ-EQ sees significant synergy potential between AGAMA's teams and its operations in France and Luxembourg, due to the strong presence of Private Equity and Real Estate in AGAMA's client portfolio.

AGAMA regularly assists its clients in the following areas:

• Outsourcing of RCCI or RCSI functions
• Regulatory assistance: implementation of internal control and risk control systems, assistance to RCCI, preparation of impact notes, compliance audits, training, regulatory monitoring
• Support for approval: assistance with the approval of new management companies, investment firms

• Support teams with client projects in France, under the supervision of a senior or manager
• Help create and update standard documents (policies, procedures, tracking tables) for clients
• Help draft, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks
• Help with administrative tasks (tracking files, dashboards, reporting)
• Analyze compliance-related data using Excel and other tools

• Master’s degree in law, finance, risk management, or similar
• First experience in compliance, audit, internal control, or data management
• Comfortable with Excel and financial data analysis (reading tables, creating and automating reports)
• Organized, autonomous, curious, and a team player
• Good writing and summarizing skills
• 3 to 4 years of experienc
• Fluent in French; professional English is appreciated
