The Monitoring team within Ethics & Compliance is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the firm’s compliance program through control testing, data analysis, and follow‑up on remediation actions. Its mission is to identify emerging risks, validate the proper operation of key controls, and ensure alignment with PwC’s global standards and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
• Takes ownership of the program’s methodology, quality, and strategic insights
• Designing and maintaining monitoring approaches based on regulatory requirements, risk assessments, and business priorities.
• Ensuring technical quality of assessments
• Validating that the program aligns with regulatory expectations and global compliance standards.
• Developing concise, executive-level compliance reports.
• Applying advanced understanding of relevant compliance frameworks
• Leveraging advanced testing methods, analytics, or automation to strengthen monitoring.
• Collaborating with process owners to agree on findings, remediation plans, and timelines.
Required skills
• Relevant experience working in Compliance.
• Ability to interpret regulations, policies, and global compliance standards.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (including Excel).
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx, Azure (nice to have).
• 4 or 5 years of relevant experience.
