Community manager (World of Tanks Blitz)

Job Overview

World of Tanks Blitz, an online mobile shooter with tens of millions of installs, is looking for a passionate gamer and skilled communicator to join our team in Vilnius. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between the game team and our Ukrainian and Russian-speaking player base across community and media platforms such as Discord, Telegram, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and others. You will help strengthen player relationships, grow community engagement and loyalty, support communications around game updates and events, and turn player feedback into actionable insights for the team.

What will you do?

• Be one of the public faces and voices of World of Tanks Blitz, proactively engaging with players across social and community platforms.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with the Ukrainian and Russian-speaking player community, creating a positive and engaging brand presence.

• Develop and implement community growth strategies to expand reach, increase engagement, and strengthen player loyalty.

• Manage social media and community publications, ensuring timely, relevant, and engaging content across assigned channels.

• Communicate game updates, new features, events, and campaigns clearly and effectively to players.

• Plan and execute community activities, player events, campaigns, and livestream participation.

• Answer general and game-specific questions from players, using your game knowledge to support meaningful interactions.

• Play World of Tanks Blitz regularly to stay informed about gameplay, features, and player experience, and apply this knowledge in community work.

• Support the setup, maintenance, and effective use of communication platforms and community tools.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and regional offices on communication planning and campaign execution.

• Gather, analyze, and summarize community sentiment and player feedback, and prepare regular reports and digests for internal stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of proven experience in community management, communications, moderation, or online community development.

• Strong interest in mobile and/or PC games, with a good understanding of gaming communities and player behavior.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Ukrainian and Russian, with the ability to communicate effectively across different audiences, formats, and platforms, while remaining sensitive to regional and cultural nuances.

• English at B1 level or higher.

• Confidence working in multicultural environments and the ability to remain calm, thoughtful, and professional in fast-paced or high-pressure situations, especially in public communication.

• A proactive, responsible, and hands-on attitude, with the ability to manage both strategic and operational tasks.

• Strong collaboration skills, willingness to share knowledge, support teammates, provide constructive feedback, and step in when urgent issues arise.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience with World of Tanks or other Wargaming titles.

• Familiarity with basic data analysis and sentiment reporting.

• Experience producing or hosting livestreams.

• Working knowledge of livestreaming, audio, and video tools and technologies.

Work mode

• Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)

• This role isn't eligible for relocation & immigration support.

The salary range for this role in Vilnius is EUR 3000-3800 monthly gross.
