📍 Doncaster
💼 Full-Time | 39 Hours Per Week | 9:00am – 5:00pm
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Community Links & Inclusion Worker to join our Mental Health Floating Support (MHFS) team. This is an exciting opportunity to design and deliver community-based support that empowers individuals to improve their mental wellbeing, sustain tenancies, and build meaningful social connections. You’ll play a key role in creating inclusive spaces through drop-ins, group sessions, and peer support initiatives—helping people access the right support at the right time.
About the Role: In this dynamic, community-focused role, you will:
Deliver engaging drop-ins, group sessions, and skills workshops across Doncaster
Provide brief interventions, advice, and signposting to individuals with mental health and housing-related support needs
Build strong partnerships with local organisations and community venues
Develop and facilitate peer support networks and activities
Support individuals to improve confidence, wellbeing, and independent living skills
Contribute to reducing repeat referrals by offering timely, low-level support
You’ll work both independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team, helping to shape and enhance our service offer
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and deliver services across community locations in Doncaster
Collaborate with stakeholders to promote and expand service reach
Provide telephone support and one-off interventions
Recruit and support volunteers and peer mentors
Lead co-production activities, incorporating lived experience into service design
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding and organisational policies
Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work
About You: We’re looking for someone who is:
âś” Knowledgeable about mental health, housing, and welfare systems
âś” Experienced in supporting vulnerable adults or supported living environments
âś” Skilled in building relationships with partners, professionals, and service users
âś” Confident delivering group work and community-based interventions
âś” Compassionate, non-judgemental, and committed to empowering others
Essential Knowledge Includes:
Mental Health, Mental Capacity, and Care Act legislation
Housing legislation and Duty to Refer
Safeguarding and supporting vulnerable adults
Working alongside local authorities and health/social care professionals
