This is an onsite, execution-driven role for someone who thrives at the intersection of community engagement, growth campaigns, and day-to-day operations. You will be highly visible on the floor and in the community, responsible for turning outreach and campaigns into measurable outcomes such as first-time visits, memberships, and corporate or partnership leads.

Position Summary
The Community Growth & Operations Lead is a hands-on, onsite role responsible for activating community engagement, driving first-time visits, and supporting day-to-day leadership within the Root Whole Body Slabtown location. This role is ideal for an ambitious, accountable operator who wants real responsibility, visible impact, and a clear path into senior store and operations leadership. You will execute community outreach, events, and growth initiatives while serving as a trusted on-the-ground presence for clients, practitioners, and front desk teams.
This is not a purely marketing role and not a desk job. Success requires comfort being on the floor, representing Root publicly, following through on commitments, and translating ideas into real-world results.

First 30 / 60 / 90 Day Focus
First 30 Days: Learn Root services, memberships, and client journey; build relationships; audit current outreach and identify priority initiatives.
Days 31–60: Launch 1–2 campaigns or outreach initiatives; serve confidently as Manager on Duty (MOD) with training; host events; track outcomes.
Days 61–90: Deliver 2–3 campaigns with measurable impact on visits, memberships, and partnerships; demonstrate operational reliability; present outcomes to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Community Outreach & Events
Build and maintain local partnerships
Plan and execute onsite events and activations
Own logistics, hosting, and follow-up for events
Track attendance, bookings, and first-time visits
Growth & Sales Support
Convert community engagement into booked services and memberships
Collaborate with front desk and practitioners for timely follow-up
Implement promotions and campaigns tied to outreach
Report outcomes and insights to leadership
Manager on Duty (1 day/week)
Provide visible leadership and support client experience
Address real-time issues and support service flow
Participate in MOD training to ensure consistent operational standards
Seasonal & Special Initiatives
Execute seasonal campaigns and practitioner launches
Test new community engagement ideas
Qualifications
3-5 years in community engagement, marketing operations, hospitality, events, or sales-adjacent roles
Comfortable in public-facing, relationship-based work
Demonstrated execution, follow-through, and accountability
Interest in wellness or mission-driven brands
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for event setup
Willingness to participate in MOD training
Compensation & Growth Path
Base Salary: $58,000-$66,000
Performance Bonus: $8,000-$12,000 annually, tied to campaign outcomes and growth targets
High performers may advance into senior operations or community leadership within 6–12 months
