Sobi offers the opportunity to work at an international pharmaceutical company focused on specialty pharmaceuticals meeting the high medical needs of rare disease patients and providing treatment and services to them. The Community Engagement Specialist will contribute to and support the team in developing and implementing advocacy communication strategies aimed at promoting the company’s initiatives, ensuring that the needs of Patient Associations are represented and understood within the organization, and implementing awareness actions toward the general public and specific areas.
Key Responsibilities
• Help to establish and maintain strategic relationships with patient associations to increase awareness and understanding of rare diseases.
• Support the implementation of the defined awareness communication strategy, using an integrated approach that includes digital channels.
• Assist in the implementation and deployment of effective communication plans to improve awareness of rare diseases and company initiatives.
• Coordinate events and campaigns in alignment with the team, particularly those aimed at patient communities and all stakeholders.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with other company functions to ensure all communications are compliant, consistent, and aligned.
• Analysis and reporting: assess the effectiveness of communication strategies through analysis and reporting.
This role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of the patient association environment, multitasking ability, empathy, and excellent organizational skills.
• Degree in Communication, Humanities, Health Sciences, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, manage priorities, and handle complex projects.
• Proactivity and availability for travel.
• Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.
