Community Outreach & Education
Conduct in-person outreach visits to healthcare offices, behavioral health providers, hospitals, schools, churches, nonprofits, and community organizations
Deliver educational presentations regarding Graceland’s services, access pathways, and care philosophy
Coordinate lunch-and-learn events, open houses, and informational sessions
Represent Graceland at health fairs, professional meetings, and community events
Relationship Development
Establish and maintain professional relationships with community stakeholders
Serve as a point of contact for general service information and educational materials
Support collaboration efforts aligned with organizational policies and compliance standards
Media Marketing & Brand Awareness
The Coordinator supports media marketing activities, including:
Assist with planning and execution of brand awareness and educational campaignsacross approved platforms (google, social media, email newsletters, print, website, etc)
Coordinate educational content related to mental health awareness, services offered, community resources, and access to care
Support clinic announcements, service launches, and community events through approved media channels
Collaborate with leadership and vendors on messaging for:
Social media posts
Website updates
Community newsletters
Educational videos or campaigns
Ensure all media content complies with HIPAA, organizational policies, and branding standards
Monitor engagement metrics (reach, impressions, engagement) for brand visibility purposes only, not patient conversion
Marketing Operations & Reporting
Maintain accurate documentation of outreach and media activities in designated tracking systems
Track outreach visits, educational events, and media initiatives
Provide leadership with regular activity-based reports, including:
Outreach coverage
Educational events completed
Media initiatives supported
Coordinate messaging accuracy with intake and administrative teams
Strategic Support
Participate in marketing and outreach planning meetings
Provide market feedback to leadership regarding community needs and service awareness
Support approved initiatives for psychiatry, therapy, neuromodulation, and IOP/PHP services through education-focused marketing
Operational Milestones (First 3 - 6 Months)
Establish collaborative relationships with a minimum of 20 high yield local organizations - psychiatric hospitals, therapists, general practitioners, treatment facilities to support mental health education and awareness initiatives.
Achieve a 25% increase in community awareness of Graceland Psychiatry’s services, as measured by approved engagement and visibility metrics.
Plan and deliver at least five (5) educational workshops, presentations, or community events focused on mental health education and access to care.
Plan and execute structured monthly outreach lunch-and-learn sessions between local organizations and the CEO.
Growth & Impact Milestones (6 months to 3 Years)
Establish Graceland Psychiatry as a trusted and recognized leader in community mental health education and outreach.
Strengthen community partnerships that support appropriate access to care and continuity of mental health services.
Expand outreach efforts to underserved and high-need populations through culturally responsive and community-based initiatives.
Demonstrate measurable improvements in community mental health literacy, using educational participation, engagement indicators, and feedback metrics.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in marketing, media, or communications
Experience with social media, digital ads, and content creation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized and able to manage multiple projects
Comfortable working in a healthcare or regulated environment
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Willingness to travel locally to clinic locations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or medical marketing
Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant marketing
Basic knowledge of analytics (Google Analytics, ad dashboards)
Experience coordinating video or media content
