Community Engagement Associate
Branch Location: Charlottetown, PE

The Community Engagement Associate brings Provincial Credit Union’s community presence to life across Prince Edward Island. This role is all about building strong partnerships, creating meaningful connections, and delivering impactful initiatives that reflect the organization’s values. From leading community programs to supporting local events and branch activities, the Community Engagement Associate helps drive engagement, elevate the brand, and make a visible difference in the communities we serve.
What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, identifying opportunities that align with organizational values and priorities.
Coordinate and deliver community initiatives, programs, and events that enhance brand presence and create meaningful impact across Prince Edward Island.
Support branch teams in planning and executing local community engagement activities.
Manage partnership requests, agreements, and related processes, ensuring alignment and fulfillment of commitments.
Contribute to financial education initiatives by coordinating partnerships and supporting the development of relevant resources.
Track, measure, and report on community engagement activities and impact.
Provide operational support, including coordinating promotional materials, logistics, and departmental initiatives.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree, or a college diploma, in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in business development, community engagement, partnerships, marketing, or communications.
Skills & Attributes
Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
Relationship Building: Ability to establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Community Engagement: Experience planning and delivering initiatives that create meaningful community impact and positive brand presence.
Organization & Planning: Strong ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to track, measure, and report on engagement activities, outcomes, and community impact.
Digital Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related digital tools used for coordination, reporting, and communication.
Mobility: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Prince Edward Island.
