G’day, we’re Mosh & Moshy.
We’re a digital health platform improving access to evidence-based care across Australia. Through telehealth-first programs across men’s and women’s health, we’re redefining how preventative care is delivered.
As we continue to scale, we’re bringing communications in-house for the first time. We’re looking for a Communications Manager to shape and elevate the Mosh and Moshy story – positioning us as leaders in digital health, preventative care and modern wellness.
This is a 12-month full-time contract role, with strong potential to evolve into a permanent position as we build this capability internally.
The Opportunity
This role exists to build brand authority and earned impact. As our Communications Manager, you will:
Develop and execute a proactive communications strategy
Identify media angles that position Mosh and Moshy as category leaders
Drive earned media coverage
Lead influencer communications strategy
Strengthen our external brand voice and reputation.
You’ll work closely with Marketing, Founders, Product and Performance to ensure communications activity directly supports growth objectives.
This is the first time we are building this specialism in-house – meaning you’ll have genuine ownership and influence in shaping how this function operates.
What You’ll Be Doing
Communications Strategy & Media
Develop and execute proactive PR and communications strategy
Identify trends and cultural moments to secure earned media
Draft press releases, key messaging and media pitches
Manage inbound media enquiries and spokesperson coordination
Build and maintain journalist and media relationships
Track and report on earned media performance
Influencer & Brand Partnerships
Lead influencer strategy from a communications lens
Ensure consistent storytelling across influencer and ambassador partnerships
Support campaign launches and brand announcements
Reputation & Crisis
Support crisis communications planning and response
Ensure message consistency across major initiatives
Strengthen brand authority across earned channels
Cross-Brand Support
Support communications initiatives for partner brand The Healthy Mummy
What You’ll Bring
5+ years’ experience in communications, PR or brand marketing
Proven experience securing earned media coverage
Experience drafting press releases and media materials
Experience using AI-powered pitching or PR tools (e.g. JustReachOut, PressPal.ai, Influencing or similar)
Strong influencer communications experience
Confident relationship builder across media and external stakeholders
Commercially minded able to connect comms activity to growth outcomes
Crisis communications experience highly preferred
Passion for health, wellness or mission-led brands
