Job Title: Communications Integrator

Position Overview
We are seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support M-SHORAD and FAAD C2/IBCS-M integration efforts. This role will provide Command and Control (C2) subject matter expertise and support the development, execution, and analysis of integration and test activities across hardware and software systems in accordance with program requirements and applicable MIL-STDs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in lab, HWIL, and field test environments supporting complex defense systems.
Key Responsibilities
Support integration activities for M-SHORAD and FAAD C2/IBCS-M systems.
Develop integration and test plans, procedures, and schedules in accordance with program requirements and MIL-STD guidelines.
Provide C2 subject matter expertise to support system integration and troubleshooting efforts.
Generate comprehensive test plans ensuring alignment with test objectives and system requirements.
Support integration of hardware, software, and firmware components at subsystem and system levels.
Execute test events in laboratory, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), and field/range environments.
Collect, analyze, and document test data; perform root-cause analysis of anomalies and system issues.
Ensure configuration control of test assets and maintain alignment with approved system baselines.
Assist with requirements verification and validation (V&V), maintaining traceability throughout the test lifecycle.
Interface with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, systems engineering, safety, and manufacturing to resolve integration challenges.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
Active Secret security clearance.
Experience supporting system integration and test of complex DoD systems.
Familiarity with MIL-STD-driven development and test processes.
Experience in C2 systems integration and testing.
Knowledge of requirements verification and validation (V&V) processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in lab, HWIL, and field test environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with M-SHORAD, FAAD C2, IBCS, or related air and missile defense systems.
Experience supporting field/range test events.
Familiarity with configuration management processes and tools.
Experience working in cross-functional, integrated product teams (IPTs).
