Our mission is to build the next generation of AI: ubiquitous, interactive intelligence that runs wherever you are. Today, not even the best models can continuously process and reason over a year-long stream of audio, video and text—1B text tokens, 10B audio tokens and 1T video tokens—let alone do this on-device.

We're pioneering the model architectures that will make this possible. Our founding team met as PhDs at the Stanford AI Lab, where we invented State Space Models or SSMs, a new primitive for training efficient, large-scale foundation models. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering paired with a design-minded product engineering team to build and ship cutting edge models and experiences.

About the Role

Cartesia is hiring a communications designer to own product storytelling and drive growth through visual design. You’ll lead design for our marketing website and support high-impact marketing and sales assets.

Your Impact

• Own the marketing website: Design, test, and iterate on the site to drive growth and conversion.

• Shape product narratives: Partner with GTM, product, and research to define product positioning and translate it into compelling web experiences.

• Build for iteration: Work closely with engineers to establish design experimentation and testing workflows to optimize website metrics.

• Support sales & exec storytelling: Create high-impact decks, documents, and visual assets for customer and partner conversations.

• Clarify complexity: Turn complex technical ideas into clear, persuasive visuals for websites and presentations.

What You Bring

• Strong visual design instincts and the ability to turn complex ideas into compelling stories.

• You care less about “perfect” visuals and more about whether the work drives customer conversion, adoption, and revenue.

• Deep experience designing marketing websites; fluency in Figma and high-fidelity prototyping.

• High ownership and initiative—comfort spotting gaps and defining your own scope.

• Experience supporting marketing, launches, and sales enablement.

• Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

• Comfort giving and receiving direct feedback tied to business outcomes.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with voice AI or developer-focused products.

• Experience concepting or storyboarding motion design for launches.
