Role Summary

The EF’s Comms Coordination team aims to help the EF and the Ethereum ecosystem communicate effectively. We manage the EF’s core communication channels, relationships with outside media, and support individual EF teams with their comms, marketing, and social needs.

We’re looking to expand our small team with a high-energy hire who can support a wide range of comms, marketing, and social projects. This is a great role for someone with junior experience but big ambitions to grow quickly, learn fast, and take on more responsibility as they prove their value. In particular, we want to hire someone who can help us grow our comms, marketing, and social media efforts in Asia.

What you’ll work on

• Helping to manage our social accounts day to day, by drafting content, managing inbound requests for social support, and identifying important ecosystem news to signal boost.

• Expanding EF’s comms presence in Asia, e.g. by developing relationships with Asia based media, communities, and expanding our presence on Asia based social networks

• Managing livestreams (planning, execution, hosting)

• Producing guest threads and guest articles (on X and Linkedin and other platforms, including regional-specific platforms) by identifying opportunities, managing relationships with ecosystem authors, and helping to draft, edit, and finalize content.

• Ad-hoc research to support social, marketing, and comms strategies including monitoring social media analytics to evaluate success.

• Working closely with the Digital Studio team to produce assets for social media

• Developing content (strategies, drafting, visuals, etc)

What you bring:

• High energy and throughput: you can manage a large number of conversations, projects, and stakeholders all at once.

• Curious and investigatory: you ask critical questions and will help us improve our tactics.

• You have the background necessary to help us expand our social reach into Asia. For instance: language skills (e.g. Mandarin, Korean, Japanese), being based in Asia, knowledge and experience of key Asia social networks.

• Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant position.

Nice to have:

• Deep familiarity with TikTok, reels, and other video based social media formats

• Basic knowledge of Figma, so that you are able to create simple graphics and use templates

• Basic knowledge of video editing, so that you are able to create short clips from longer videos

• Basic knowledge of AI assisted workflows and an eagerness to learn
