We welcome a diverse range of guests every day with a mix of both corporate & leisure as well as hosting and taking part in an array of events, including the incredible (and colourful) Mardi Gras. 

Due to an internal promotion, Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Full-time Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. Located in the heart of Sydney overlooking Hyde Park, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences across our restaurant, bar, room service, and event operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, functions and room service
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen workspace
• Working across different sections and assisting in organising your area
• Monitoring stock rotation and minimising food wastage
• Assisting senior chefs in daily operations and service execution
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

• A foundational understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Previous experience in a hotel or fast-paced kitchen environment
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
• Team player with a passion for delivering quality food
• Ability to thrive under pressure and take initiative
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
