We are currently seeking candidates with multifamily and/or commercial real estate brokerage experience. We will also consider licensed salespersons or brokers who are interested in becoming commercial real estate brokers.
The position requires excellent writing and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. Successful candidates must be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without significant direct supervision. The position originates and directs the marketing of exclusive commercial property listings. Candidates will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with investment property owners, delivering exceptional customer service and developing expertise in the metro investment real estate market. Successful candidates will have strong organizational, communication, writing and presentation skills and be entrepreneurial and team oriented.
Responsibilities:
Develops business and negotiates the selling, leasing, and marketing of commercial real estate properties for public and private clients.
Work in a team environment with staff, research analysts, senior brokers and partners to grow market expertise and procure new business
Build and maintain relationships with investment property owners
Secures new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, professional associations and relationship building
Gathers, prepares, and distributes marketing materials.
Develops a comprehensive understanding of real estate fundamentals, value drivers, trends and comparable transactions
Participates in contract negotiations and due diligence.
Prepares offers, term sheets, and amendments; assists attorneys in preparing real estate contracts
Maintains current knowledge of market conditions, property values, economic trends and legislation that may affect the real estate industry.

Requirements:
2-5 years’ experience as a licensed Massachusetts real estate salesperson or broker required- with no history of violations/disciplinary actions by any State Licensing Board or Professional Trade Organization
Record of sales success
Must be entrepreneurial, self-starter and able to work independently
Must be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects; disciplined, focused and team oriented
Strong negotiation and due diligence skills
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience in Multifamily/Commercial Real Estate; Section 8, LIHTC and/or FHA multifamily properties preferred
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
Intermediate analytical, financial and quantitative skills.
Strong organizational, communication, writing and presentation skills
Must be proficient and have accurate computer skills: Microsoft Office 365 applications; willing to learn new software as needed
Ability to travel as needed
Ability to work remotely
