We are seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial Paving Foreman to lead our paving crews on commercial parking lot and roadway projects. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations on job sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and hands-on experience with asphalt paving in commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate paving crews on commercial parking lot and roadway projects
Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure productivity goals are met
Operate and oversee the use of paving equipment, including pavers, rollers, and skid steers
Ensure proper grading, drainage, and asphalt installation techniques are followed
Monitor job site safety and enforce company safety policies and procedures
Communicate with project managers, contractors, and clients regarding progress and any issues
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications
Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and skill levels
Manage materials, equipment, and labor to stay within project budgets and timelines
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in asphalt paving, with a focus on commercial parking lots and roadways
Prior experience in a foreman or supervisory role preferred
Strong knowledge of paving techniques, equipment operation, and job site safety
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift to 50 lbs
