We are looking for a highly proactive and execution-driven Commercial Operations Manager to support the Commercial leadership team and drive key commercial initiatives across the business. 

This role sits at the heart of Tickmill’s commercial execution, translating strategic ideas from the Chief Commercial Officer into structured projects, coordinating cross-departmental efforts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-impact initiatives 

The ideal candidate has prior experience in business development coordination and project management within a regulated broker, understands the dynamics of the trading industry, and thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Project Coordination 

Coordinate ongoing and new commercial initiatives using Jira service tickets. 

Translate commercial ideas and strategic direction from the CCO into structured, trackable projects with clear deliverables. 

Support the planning and execution of high-priority commercial and company-wide initiatives. 

Ensure projects progress smoothly by proactively managing dependencies, risks, and timelines. 

Project & Workflow Management 

Own Jira usage for Commercial Operations, acting as the go-to person for Jira-related queries within the Commercial and Business Development teams. 

Create, assign, and monitor tasks with clear ownership, priorities, and deadlines. 

Support the Head of Commercial Operations in managing Jira workflows, dashboards, and internal reporting. 

Maintain clear visibility of project status and progress through well-structured tracking and dashboards. 

Cross-Departmental Coordination 

Facilitate alignment between Business Development, Product, Marketing, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of commercial projects. 

Organise and participate in regular cross-departmental meetings, ensuring decisions and action points are documented and followed through. 

Act as a central coordination point to streamline communication and execution across teams. 

Operational Process Improvement 

Identify operational inefficiencies and propose improvements to commercial execution processes. 

Design and implement optimised workflows to improve cross-team collaboration and delivery speed. 

Document key commercial processes and operational workflows in Confluence to ensure transparency, consistency, and scalability. 

Reporting & Documentation 

Prepare and maintain basic commercial reports, project summaries, and documentation. 

Provide regular, structured status updates to the Head of Commercial Operations and senior stakeholders on project progress and risks. 

 

 

Requirements:

Proven experience in business development coordination and project management within a regulated broker or related financial services company. 

Strong understanding of the Forex and CFD trading industry, including commercial drivers and campaign mechanics. 

Hands-on experience working with Jira (ticketing, workflows, reporting). 

Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail. Project management certification or education would be considered as a plus. 

Proactive, self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership. 

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 

Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments. 

Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and translating strategy into execution. 

 

Nice to Have:

 

Experience working in a regulated financial environment. 

Familiarity with Confluence or similar documentation tools. 

Exposure to global or multi-region commercial teams.
