About The Role
We are looking for a Commercial Manager to help us drive new business sales and achieve our ambitious growth plans across our Co-Branded and Own-Branded products within the competitive aggregator market.
Joining us in a key role in our growing Commercial team, you will be essential to helping us drive and optimise new applications and accounts, to achieve our growth targets. This role will be reporting into our Head of Acquisition in the Commercial function.
Key responsibilities
Product and pricing strategy
Support the development and implementation of the product and pricing strategy for our own-branded and co-branded products on our aggregator partners.
Continuously monitor and refine pricing models based on data analytics, customer insights and internal business performance metrics, ensuring we meet targets and business objectives.
Collaborate with business areas to assess the impact of pricing changes on the portfolio performance as well as customer behaviour.
Performance tracking
Support with the monitoring and reporting of key performance metrics, including but not limited to conversion rates and sales.
Analysing the data and help seek new opportunities for the credit card to grow within the aggregator channel.
Process and documentation
Help to ensure that all activity through the aggregator channel complies with regulatory and company standards.
Learning and development
Conduct competitor analysis on a regular basis, whilst staying up to date with key changes/updates within the credit card industry.
Take advantage of training opportunities such as online and in-person industry events.
Cross-functional collaboration and change management
Gaining buy in for activity and support for delivering change – working closely with other areas of the business such as product, decisions systems, credit risk and many more.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience developing pricing strategies to meet the needs of customers and the business.
Experienced with SQL and data driven and able to interrogate sets of data to paint a clearer picture.
A real team player, working with different areas of the business and our external partners to help achieve our growth targets.
Experience building out own and team reporting using Snowflake, Tableau, Google Analytics or something similar for reporting purposes.
Keen to learn and develop your own skills through taking accountability and ownership of projects and the successful delivery of these.
Able to work within a fast-paced environment, dealing with multiple projects at the same time and comfortable with pivoting to meet changing business priorities.
Passionate about Jaja’s mission to become the UK’s digital lender of choice and excited to work with the team to build out the company’s narrative both internally and externally.
Desired
Experience within aggregators and affiliates market within consumer finance, driving new customer acquisition. Experience working directly with aggregators in the credit cards space is a plus but not required.
