This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator with an existing client base who is seeking a strong, values-driven platform to support and grow their practice. You'll join a collaborative team that’s focused on delivering practical, results-oriented legal advice with a business-minded approach.

The Role

The Commercial Litigation Group has experience and expertise in all aspects of commercial law, including complex, multi-party litigation.  We provide our clients with guidance through a wide variety of matters, such as commercial contract claims, construction disputes, real estate transactions, franchise disputes, commercial arbitrations, insurance litigation, environmental claims and intellectual property disputes.  We represent clients before all levels of Canadian courts, including the Supreme and Federal Courts of Canada, provincial, superior and appellate courts and various administrative tribunals.  We provide counsel to First Nations in BC, Alberta, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories, and represent First Nations at all Court levels on aboriginal and treaty rights. The ideal candidates will be talented, detail-oriented, "hands-on", capable practitioners with a track-record of strong practice skills, solid judgement, entrepreneurial spirit, and excellent client and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for the role represents the Firm's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The starting salary is determined based on a number of factors, including the successful candidate’s knowledge, relevant experience, and internal equity. If your experience exceeds 7 years of call, the compensation would correspond and we welcome your inquiry as to specifics.
