Commercial Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a Litigation Associate (5+ years of experience) to join our Commercial Litigation team on Long Island. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven attorney to take on a substantive role handling complex matters within a fast-paced and dynamic litigation practice.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, and legal memoranda
Conduct and defend depositions and handle court appearances in state and federal courts
Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, production, and strategy
Handle arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance
Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy, motion practice, and trial preparation
Prepare for and assist with hearings and trials
Supervise junior attorneys and support staff as needed
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar (New Jersey admission is a plus)
5+ years of experience in commercial litigation
Strong experience with motion practice, depositions, and court appearances
Experience managing cases independently from start to finish
Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong interpersonal and client management skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $145,000 – $200,000, commensurate with experience
