Commercial Lines Processor

The Leavitt Group's affiliate in Twin Falls, ID, Starley-Leavitt is looking for a full-time processor to join their busy team.

As a commercial lines processor, you will work with our team to process insurance policies and will need strong computer skills, with prior customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes new and renewal policies, including policies downloaded from the carrier once reviewed by Account Manager.

• Processes endorsements, audits, cancellations, etc. including checking for accuracy, billing, and preparing correspondence to insured and/or carrier as needed

• Creates emails to notify Account Managers/CSA’s to follow up on reported policy and account discrepancies; emails include all relevant documentation.

• Processes all mail in a timely manner ensuring that appropriate activities are closed

• Pulls renewal policies for Account Managers and place in monthly renewal folder

• Attends Team meetings and continuing educational classes

• Sets priorities, organizes and manages work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities

• Maintains a professional and effective relationship with co-workers, and other business contacts

• Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information and continuously improves knowledge and performance

• Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals

• Fulfills other duties as assigned

Job Requirements/Competencies

• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.

• Detail oriented and able to maintain compliance standards.

• Must be dependable, provide timely response and complete work activities.
