We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Commercial Estimator to join our team in Orlando, United States. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, partnering with sales teams, and managing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine material quantities and labor requirements
• Collaborate with sales teams during the project development phase to provide accurate installation pricing
• Identify and select qualified subcontractors through supplier development and relationship management
• Lead the development of installation costing models and strategies to optimize project efficiency
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and potential challenges
• Prepare and review requests for proposals (RFPs) from subcontractors and suppliers
• Negotiate prices with vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and industry standards
• Participate in project handover meetings to ensure smooth transition from estimation to execution
• Continuously improve estimation processes and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum of 5 years of project management and estimating experience in the construction industry
• Proven experience in building systems and operational processes
• Strong procurement background with a focus on construction equipment and services
• Excellent cost analysis skills and solid financial knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Experience with industry-standard estimating software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in team settings
• Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality estimates

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in design-build construction projects
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical industry installations
• Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes
• Multi-language capabilities
