MSPS, a leading company in Integrated Marketing & Sales Services, is seeking a senior Commercial Director to lead the Retail Excellence Business Unit, drive commercial growth, and ensure operational and client-service excellence across nationwide Field & Merchandising Operations.
This role is designed for experienced professionals with strong strategic, commercial, and technological capabilities, who combine structured leadership with the mindset to further develop and scale a complex business unit.
Main responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and further develop the Retail Excellence Business Unit, ensuring commercial performance, operational consistency, and long-term client value.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities into strategic proposals, commercial plans, and sustainable revenue streams.
• Manage and expand a portfolio of major clients, fostering long-term strategic partnerships.
• Oversee the nationwide execution of field operations programs (merchandising, retail execution initiatives, audits, activations).
• Guide cross-functional teams (Account Directors, Supervisors, Field Managers) while promoting a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence.
• Ensure process discipline and operational effectiveness through structured methodologies, data-driven monitoring, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Utilize technology, reporting systems, and analytics tools to improve efficiency, optimize performance, and support decision-making.
• Participate in strategic planning, organizational development, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Manage financial performance: forecasting, profitability, cost control, and commercial negotiations.
Requirements:
• 15+ years of experience in Sales, Trade Marketing, Retail Execution, or Field Services; FMCG or agency background is considered a strong asset.
• 8+ years in leadership roles managing multi-level teams and complex operations.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in negotiations and business development.
• Ability to operate effectively in evolving market conditions, demonstrating adaptability and structured problem-solving.
• High level of technological literacy with the ability to leverage digital tools, analytics, and reporting systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Greek and English.
• Advanced analytical, financial, and organizational skills.
