Job Description

The Commercial Development Manager is responsible for leading efforts to identify, evaluate, manage, and commercialize new business opportunities and market initiatives within the Nordics region. This role focuses on driving new growth that is profitable, sustainable, and fits within strategic plans by uncovering unmet customer needs and articulating value propositions. The individual in this position will navigate complex business problems to determine the best solutions for customers while establishing influential relationships with external partners.

Key Tasks:

• Conduct market research to identify potential target territories, segments, and accounts for expansion.
• Assist in developing a game board of target accounts in collaboration with cross-business and functional counterparts.
• Provide support in executing strategies to penetrate new accounts and territories, with a focus on revenue growth and customer acquisition.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Development Manager and other team members in driving sales efforts.
• Utilize social selling techniques to engage with potential customers, build relationships, and generate leads.
•  Contribute to outreach efforts and communicate our value proposition to drive interest and engagement.
• Assist in using tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
• Gather relevant information to support the team in tailoring sales pitches and proposals.
• Provide support in deal negotiations and contract discussions under the guidance of the Commercial Development Manager.
• Collaborate with team members to contribute to successful deal closures.
• Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of account expansion efforts.
• Provide data insights to support decision-making and optimization.
•  Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights, sharing relevant information with the team.
• Support the Commercial Development Manager in refining strategies based on insights.

• Previous experience in business development or sales in Apparel industry mandatory
• Familiarity with business development practices and an eagerness to learn and contribute to the expansion process.
• Basic understanding of prospecting, social selling, and customer outreach.
• Proficiency in using tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is beneficial, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities to support various aspects of the expansion process.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, taking direction from senior team members.
