At Trivelta, we build the technology that powers modern experiences partnering with online sports betting & casino operators to launch their own fully customized branded, legally compliant iGaming platforms and products that drive engagement, retention, and revenue. Through our proprietary sports-book and casino engine, we enable partners to offer real social interactions, predictive gameplay, and casino entertainment in one unified experience.
As Commercial Counsel you join a growing legal team and support our rapidly expanding commercial operations and strategic
initiatives.
This role is ideal for a lawyer with 3–4 years of post-qualification experience who has strong experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and supporting due diligence processes. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and play a key role in enabling growth while managing legal risk.
Responsibilities:
Commercial Contracting
•
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including:
• Client and customer agreements
• Supplier and vendor contracts
• Partnership and collaboration agreements
• NDAs and confidentiality agreements
• Framework and service-level agreements
• Intercompany agreements
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to internal teams
Due Diligence & Transaction Support
•
• Conduct and coordinate legal due diligence reviews
• Identify, assess, and communicate legal risks in commercial transactions
• Support corporate transactions, partnerships, and strategic projects
• Assist with preparation and review of transaction documentation
Risk Management & Compliance
•
• Advise on legal and regulatory requirements impacting commercial activities
• Support implementation of internal governance and compliance policies
• Proactively identify legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
•
• Partner with commercial, finance, and operational teams to support business initiatives
• Provide clear, solution-oriented legal guidance
• Support senior leadership with timely and pragmatic legal input
Qualifications:
• Law degree from a recognized institution
• Qualified lawyer in good standing
• 3–4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in:
• A reputable law firm (commercial/corporate practice), or
• An in-house legal department
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Experience supporting or conducting legal due diligence
• Exposure to corporate or transactional work is advantageous
This position is hybrid based out of our Barcelona office located near la Barceloneta.
