(Federal / Camp Pendleton Projects)

Paradigm Mechanical Corp. is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to support a new federal contract at Camp Pendleton. This role is ideal for someone with strong general construction knowledge, the ability to scope multiple trades, and comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This position will play a critical role in scoping work, qualifying subcontractor bids, and assembling accurate, competitive estimates for federal and military projects.

What You’ll Do

Prepare detailed estimates for commercial and federal construction projects

Develop and scope multiple trade packages (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, civil, architectural, etc.)

Review drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps, conflicts, and risks

Solicit, analyze, and qualify subcontractor bids

Level bids and ensure scope alignment across trades

Coordinate closely with project management and operations

Support quick-turnaround pricing and time-sensitive proposals

Assist with RFIs, clarifications, and scope narratives as needed

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in commercial or federal construction estimating

Strong general construction knowledge across multiple trades

Experience scoping, leveling, and qualifying subcontractor bids

Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and contract documents

Comfortable working under tight deadlines

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

Federal / military project, JOC, MACC experience preferred (NAVFAC a plus)
