Role Summary and Impact

We are currently looking for a Commercial Analyst to join us. You will be a key point of contact for our business and shared service teams, providing crucial support for financial operations. In this role, you will help maintain and improve WPP Media’s procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory guidelines.

What you will do:

• Manage media campaign reconciliation process, resolve discrepancies with media team if any and have media plans reconciled in media/accounting systems

• Support and collaborate with account management team in all areas interacting with the billing, collection and payment process, with a view to ensuring operational efficiency

• Support month-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts

• Preparation of intercompany work orders

• Support monthly, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process.

• Preparation of internal and client reporting.

• Compliance: Supporting in Client, Financial and SOX audit documentation

• Ad-hoc duties

What you will need:

• Degree/diploma in accounting

• At least 3 years’ experience in a Finance position

• Prior hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable/ Billing operations/ General Ledger for media industry an advantage

• Good numeracy and experience with the Google and Microsoft office suites (such as Power BI)

• Responsible, diligent and attentive to detail; follows through on queries and issues

• Analytical, meticulous with a positive attitude to work hard, good team player and able to work with minimal supervision

• Strong communicator, comfortable in dealing with both internal and external parties, clients and suppliers

• Recognizes and resolves problems quickly and effectively
