Exciting Internal Secondment Opportunity – Commercial Analyst
We are pleased to share an exciting internal secondment opportunity for the role of Commercial Analyst.
This opportunity is open to team members at Fulkrum in all locations and will report to the Commercial Lead.
A secondment is a temporary opportunity to move into a different role within the business for a fixed period of time. It gives you the chance to build new skills, gain broader exposure, and further develop your career, while remaining an employee of Fulkrum. This secondment will run until the end of December, with the possibility of extension. The start date will be as soon as possible, with transition arrangements considered.
This role may be particularly well suited to someone currently working in a Coordinator, Assistant, or Administrator role who is looking to broaden their perspective, gain commercial exposure, and support their career growth.
About the role
As a Commercial Analyst, you will work closely with the Commercial Lead and other key stakeholders across the business. You will support a wide range of day-to-day commercial activities and play an important role in helping the team deliver high-quality, timely, and commercially focused support across the business.
This is a varied role that will provide exposure to commercial operations, bid and tender activity, client onboarding, due diligence, and business development support.
Key responsibilities
Assist with bid and tender preparation, including screening, Table of Reference (TOR), and deliverables
Lead Expressions of Interest (EOI), market surveys, and tender prequalification activities
Review contracts and agreements, identifying key negotiation points and challenges
Manage vendor qualification, supplier registration, and due diligence processes
Maintain memberships and subscriptions
Support the onboarding of new clients and update the Contracts Register
Prepare and update client rate cards and internal rate guides
Collaborate on business development event summaries and presentation materials
Provide commercial support to the sales team and other departments
Issue and maintain HSE statistics, forms, and documentation
Skills and experience
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Good MS Office skills

Good attention to detail and the ability to interpret instructions accurately
