We are currently looking for a Commercial Analyst. This role translates complex wholesale market dynamics into actionable insights that support commercial pricing, product development, and strategic decisions. It monitors and analyzes cost drivers from electricity and gas markets, ensuring that commercial teams have a clear understanding of how the operation of the wholesale markets affect retail costs. By maintaining close oversight of market-based costs, the role helps align commercial strategies with operational realities and regulatory developments.
What will you do:
• Analyses market trends, price drivers and regulatory developments affecting cost formation.
• Supports the Commercial Division to design energy products and to analyze their profitability.
• Monitors wholesale costs for Enerwave's commercial activity. Works closely with Finance to analyse revenues and P&L.
• Assists the Regulatory Division to assess the framework regarding the commercial activity in the wholesale markets
• Monitors market trends and competition
• Communicates to internal stakeholders (incl. Commercial & Finance Division) findings and insights to support strategic decisions
What you need to be successful:
• A BSc in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Science, Business, Economics or relevant discipline
• 2-3 years experience in relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills to analyse complex data and proccesses
• Good understanding of energy markets
• Problem solving skills in order to identify problems and provide creative solutions to address them
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player who can also work independently
• Understanding of economic principles and financial concepts
