The Job
The Command Center Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the management of the teams to ensure effective production, meet high system availability expectations, maintain security surveillance, monitor operations, and deliver production. This role involves resource allocation and implementing solutions that enhance the operational efficiency and performance of our operations.
Responsibilities
• Analyze data and organize it; then, communicate clearly and accurately with senior-level management through speaking and writing.
• Prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.
• Evaluates and selects among alternative courses of action quickly and effectively.
• Drafts concise, accurate situational reports and prepares and presents briefing materials.
• Provides expertise to the Operations Center assigned shift.
• Develop training, education programs, and communications on department policies and topics to ensure staff are prepared for potential security issues, crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events.
• Monitor the shift Operations Center Specialists and provide direct supervision and guidance.
• Generate diagnostic reports to be shared with onsite mining technicians.
• Monitor price points regularly for hash price, energy pricing, and BTC value.
• Provide new hire training and development.
• Assisting with critical data reporting and analytics.
• Assist in developing/maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
• Foster open, respectful, and professional communication both within the team and with coworkers, teammates, and leaders across the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• An associate's degree in a related field of study or progressively equivalent work experience is required.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Center support is required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in break-even pricing, data center infrastructure, site dependencies, and site configurations required
• Willing to learn new technologies and applications, required.
• Strong verbal and written leadership skills are required.
• Experience with applications such as Confluence, Jira, required
• Previous leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Slack, Zabbix, Databricks, and Minder is preferred.
• Knowledge of blockchain principles is preferred.
• An understanding of ITIL delivery concepts is preferred.

Minimal travel may be required as needed.
Work Environment
This job is operated in a professional office, warehouse, and data center environment. It routinely uses standard office equipment, including laptop computers, photocopiers, smartphones, ladders, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, onsite position with rotating 12-hour shifts.
