SURVEY PILOT. CAPTAIN

Primary Purpose
To ensure the safe and compliant operation of aircraft in airborne geophysical survey missions, acting as Pilot in Command, in full adherence to ANAC regulations, the “Regras do Ar”, company Operations Manual and all HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Compliance
• Act as Pilot in Command in airborne survey operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with ANAC regulations, RBAC 91 and applicable operational rules.
• Demonstrate solid knowledge and practical application of the “Regras do Ar”.
• Promote and enforce company flight safety and HSE standards in the field.
• Immediately act in the interest of safety in case of emergency and report accordingly.

Operational Delivery
• Conduct airborne geophysical surveys in line with project specifications.
• Ensure proper pre-flight planning including weather analysis, route review and contingency planning.
• Guarantee aircraft airworthiness prior to flight and proper documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with ATC and relevant aviation authorities.
• Support field operations and foster strong teamwork within crews.

Administration
• Complete logbook entries and operational reports within required timelines.
• Report defects and operational issues in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory
• Valid ANAC Commercial Pilot Licence, meeting company minimum requirements for Captain / PIC.
• Proven experience in airborne survey operations.
• Demonstrated experience operating in different geographical and climatic conditions.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian aviation regulations and “Regras do Ar”.
• Solid flight planning and navigation skills.
• Strong commitment to safety culture and HSE compliance.

Preferred
• Turbine experience.
• International survey experience.
